I wore sneakers so yes. 2 yr. Old is doable but be prepared to help. I think there is a trail that is easier than what we did. We went up the side from echo canyon trail, which was shorter than going down to the summit trail and then going up, but it was very steep.
I climbed it barefoot...it has very steep parts... I also fell and scratched my knee...small scratch but 2 year old might get a scratch too.
Yes walk at a angle and it gets hot in the summer its pure granite little ones may have a tough time o. Some spots soft rubber soles are best
Regular sneakers should be fine. I would be wary about taking a 2 year old. There are some long steep slopes, and you have to be able to keep your footing.
Bear crawling works well for Littles when it gets steeper. Have a blast!
Yep, your going to have to help them when it geta steep. Get there as early as you can. The park fills up quick.
Absolutely for both, just dont forget water
I agree with everyone. You will definitely need to help your young ones. I would take a little break maybe every 15 minutes and just enjoy the view.
Yes and yes. Just keep eye her/him because there are holes
Its pretty steep in some spots but i always see young kids at the top. You might have to help them here and there but its doable. Walk up at an angle, not straight up.
