Locals can get a free shore fishing license. Just can't use it on a boat. Visitors must purchase an out of State License even for fishing from shore. Come in different lengths of use like 3 day ect.

Yes. Shore fishing you still need a license. I think it $1 at Walmart. Might be free on line but I'm sure of that.
