This park is decent size. There is a large grassy area for all types of things like sports, picnics, kite flying etc. There is 2 public restrooms which remain pretty clean. They're connected to a covered pavilion. Under the pavilion includes picnic tables and garbage cans. It has two playgrounds with swings. You will also find a walking path(some of it paved), dog park with water source and it's fenced in. You have benches along the path some of which have a nice water view. They're is a launch area for kayaks.

My kids and I absolutely love this park! It’s well kept, clean restrooms and picnic pavilion. Beautiful views of the water front and a mini dock where you can fish and watch the manatees. This place is great for relaxing, taking a mini nature trail, having a picnic or letting the kids enjoy a fun day at the playground.

Great park. We walk the trail and use the small dog park frequently.

The view here was stunning! Not a lot of people when we went and it was very clean. I liked the fact you could walk away from the playground area and disappear on the waterside. There was only two other dogs. The bathrooms were well kept, very clean and stocked. Their were people who came for a good workout, loved it definitely going back

New Port Richey has Sims park, a beautiful property with lake, bandshell and children's splash park and playground. There are lots of free shows held there. Main Street is alive with restaurants and pubs with live music. It's on the "Cotee River" and you can see dolphins in warm weather.

Locals can get a free shore fishing license. Just can't use it on a boat. Visitors must purchase an out of State License even for fishing from shore. Come in different lengths of use like 3 day ect.
It is best to check the agenda calendar on the City of Port Richey website. They will most likely post it there. There has not been a date announced that I know of.
