Besides the museum, it is a historic site in its own right. This has one of the most prolific bone beds anywhere from the Great Age of Mammals.
There's a museum and a trail to a couple of the inactive dig sites. I'm not a museum guy but those who are into that stuff say it's pretty good. The museum has a movie. That's helpful and should be watched before walking up to the dig sites. It's in the middle of nowhere. No food is served, so take a lunch if it's that time of day. There are signs at both ends of the highway warning that there's no gas for x number of miles, so make sure you have enough to get there and back again.
It's a small site but there's something about it that I just loved. The main building is a museum of sorts, with about an hour of historical content related to the area. There nothing fancy here, but it's almost a historic site itself, which adds to the experience. There are some trails to sites that could occupy another couple hours of walking around.
Also saw the solar eclipes there. Very interesting, I had a lot of fun.
Saw the solar eclipse there and didn't spend too much time there. There is a small museum with some of the best Indian artifacts there, that I have seen. Well worth the drive if you are in that part of Nebraska.
I would suggest first looking away the NPS website and then read Google reviews.
The NPS website has tons of info on all the parks
