yes we have been camping there for the past five years and never had a problem
Yes, guaranteed they are all taken...we made our reservations for July back in February. I believe after September they're all first come first serve..You can take the chance and drive the loooong 8 mile dirt road after Noon to see if there are any open ones, but most likely the only ones available will be in the middle of the campground and those are awful, full of stickers...We stay on the beach or against the back by the entrance....
If you got a reservation through the website you should be good to go. There will be a state parks kiosk on your way in where you will check in. There is also a camp host onsite.
It is a small campground but there is a person who works the campground that is on sight or was when I stayed, you could always drive there and ask
Everyone read Christina's question wrong. "Everything seemed to be reserved" - she meant that all sites were taken/booked and she could not book it for herself. So, she was asking if maybe there's some discrepancy to "all sites reserved". I never been at this campground and can't even find out how to book online. Mike Haskell, what do you mean by stickers? Like stickers from cars' bumpers?
