We only hike a bit on this trail looking for a spot to access the creek. Hiked for about 45 mins with no access to the creek so returned. Other hikers on the trail spotted a snake 🐍

It's a fantastic place to go for a relaxing walk through the woods. If you are looking for a "true" redwood experience however, I would not take this trail. The trail is more new growth and river trail where the redwoods don't grow. If you …

Walked about 10 miles on this trail. It definitely feels surreal. There is a bridge over the creek (during the busy season) less than a mile from the trail-head. Not strenuous at all. Mostly flat along the Redwood Creek. Great scenery and full of redwood trees of course.
