Yes you need a medical card from the State of Florida. I don't believe you can use one from a different state. About 95% sure.
Yes you need a FL medical card. The process is extremely easy if you have a card in another state because your illness is already proven and documented. But you will have to pay for the process again, roughly $200-$300 total in FL.
