Can you see the trees via car only ? Or is hiking a must. I will have a 7 month pregnant wife going with me.

Plenty to see from the car. They have little pull off areas so you can be next to a giant redwood without walking more than a few steps.

Ditto. I wouldn't travel the trail thru the coastal redwoods Damnation Creek trail because it is a steep zigzag trail. I was in pretty good shape and still had to make a stop at each point! So I would stick to the even ground trails. Everyone of them is breathtaking!

Yes there is plenty of trees to see from your car also you dont have to hike at all and there are campgrounds to drive to as well.

There are many places you can see the trees from your car. And many more that are less than a 200-foot hike. Enjoy!

There is parking lot to park and walk back. Be sure to do that. Easy walk she shouldn't have any problems. It's all breath taking!!
