If you are tent camping, it is pretty easy to find a place to pitch a tent. You won't get a table or fire pit, but you can set up your tent and camp. I have camped along the road in the campground with my 5th wheel when they were full. They are pretty flexible if you are polite and just ask.
There isn't really designate spaces. Just drive around, you should find a spot.
Also drive around and don't be afraid to ask if you can share some space if it's full in the group sites.
There is a hotel like around the corner. People leave all the time. You just gotta watch out
You shouldn't have a problem getting a campsite. But God forbid there aren't any, you'll find plenty of other options. That area is filled with campgrounds, state parks, beaches and nature reserves.
