Campsites roughly 8-23 are the best. Booked 25 which is the worst one there but thankfully it was empty on a Thursday and we moved over to 18. Which was perfect! Definitely worth driving down to the day use areas for sunrise and sunset plenty of picnic tables to make meals at with a view! Saw plenty of deer as well!

Sites nicely spaced. Access to the most beautiful coastal walks. Toilets spiffy. Good cell reception via Verizon (100 Mbps in the day use parking area!). T-Mobile reception is pretty spotty but was able to send a few texts from the day use parking area.

Forest recovering after many dead trees were cut and chipped. Hope it will recover fast. And the coastal rocks are as beatiful as always!

This is camping the way it used to be. No showers, no cell service, no noise at night, (except for raccoons). Campsites are well separated for tent or small RV camping and bringing firewood is critical since the nights can be cool and damp all year around. If tent camping, expect the tents to be very very wet in the morning from all the dew and ocean moisture.

It’s a 10 minute walk on somewhat rough terrain as I recall. Super nice when you get there! Oh and it’s not really a beach it’s rocky northern CA coastline.
Probably, during the week. I was just there Monday. 8 available. About six were taken. Really depends on the day you arrive and have time. We arrived at 3:00 p.m. and 7 we're still available
Yes. Verizon and ATT only. Brand new Cell tower. 5 bars everywhere.
There is a bbq grill above the firepit. Very easy to use.
