After all day going to the dirt roads it was like heaven on Earth finding the nice quiet place with extra clean bathrooms and very quiet . We love it.

This was a huge waste of drive time and money spent. The map vs reality of camping spot size is very not in tune with one another. I will never recommend nor spend another dime on this place. I wound up spending the night at a Walmart parking lot. Tillis Hills absolutely is not a place I'd go to if you are looking for a little space. AVOID THIS DUMP!!!!

Withlacoochee Forest was beautiful and we enjoyed the campground. One thing I found odd was the fact that the website and signs entering the campground said "no dogs allowed." However, there were dogs in the campground and they weren't even tied up or on leashes. Just running loose. In the two weeks we were there, we never saw hosts or rangers driving around, which may have given the campers with dogs the idea that rules weren't going to be enforced.

What an amazing place. Quiet. Secluded. The spots are far enough apart that you aren't bothered by other campers. A+ we will be back again.

No pets🚫 unless it's a service animal🐕🦺 Talk to Kevin or BIG Mac the park rangers for further questions info💪💯
My wife and I camped at #19. We used a tent and it was perfect because it's close to the restrooms/showers and that side has trees to hang a hammock. Plus it's nestled back to where the sun doesn't hit you that much.
No, dirt bikes are not allowed on this state property.

Yes.
No check in required. There is an iron ranger for walk up sites if you didnt book through Reserve America.
The closest town is Inverness which is about five or six miles away. I'm sure you will find a Catholic church there.
No, they are not allowed.
In my experience the entry gate is locked after hours and there is no provision for dropping money. Site reservations are supposed to paid in advance to Reserve America and they include a gate code for after hours entry in your confirmation email.
No not really. Perhaps in stage pond? But doubtful. Fishing is permitted at Mutual Mine, but i wouldnt have high expectations. Better to check out a site on a river
3pm, check out 1pm
