Nice campground and beach. The beach is a bit of a walk. Decent parking, okay camp host. Nice campsites. But majority are geared toward RVs. They did have a water issue while I was there so definitely bring bottled water, unless you don't mind boiling water.

Being promised privacy and what they said was the most remote spot in the campground, instead I was given a spot which faces the parking lot, has the most traffic, and is close to the entrance for the Stillwater cove pathway. Stillwater Cove itself is a beautiful little Beach, and I can imagine that this would be an eyesore camping experience if somebody brought their own RV, or enclosure with a little more privacy. I left two days early and decided to cut my losses and go inland and stay at a hotel instead. That said, the process is fairly simple reserving the spots, the rangers and staff were nice people, and it looks like a fairly well kept park with lots of amenities like running water trash pickups and showers and bathrooms. It's an All-American campsite worthy of Yogi Bear.

I don’t want to give such a review because I don’t want people know of this place. Our spot was very close to someone else but still ended up perfection. The trail to the coast was so gorgeous.

Easy access Sonoma County Regional Park & campground. The hiking trails through the redwood forest are very scenic with towering trees, ferns, wildflowers and many birds & lizards. There is a short trail to the beach which crosses Hwy 1. You will cross on a blind curve so be careful! There are restrooms and trash bins at the beach. The view of the ocean from the small cove are beautiful.

I wouldn't think so.

How far of a hike is it to the beach ? Also could I use a jogging stroller on this path. We have a three year old and don’t want her to be too exhausted 😩

It's doable with a Bob stroller. No room for others tho'. Steep. Listen hard for cars when crossing in the hairpin turn. Easier 1/4 mi walk.

Ya its super awesomeness not to many people when we went while my wifes kid went for albacore. We had the kids there also ranging from 12 to 4 yrs old & had them searching for rocks, sea shells, & etc. Also seen some seals watch out for them cause they'll take your fish. But if your gonna b there all day take a lunch & t.p. haha We'll be going back to discover more loved it.
