This is a great park for families with both toddlers and big kids in the family as there is plenty for everyone to do. Also the nature walk and trails are nice. If you get there right at the brink of sundown you will see the bats coming out of the bat house! We try to stay until then to watch that when we come to this park!

Great place to rake your kids to play at the playground. There are clean bathrooms and a water fountain. There is also a few very nice nature paths to walk on. The park is big and modern and plenty of parking. Definitely a place I will take my kids again.

Years ago I took my kids to Urfer to play on their awesome playground and I ran some laps on the walking trail. On my last visit I needed some R&R and I got exactly that. The trails was beautiful and serene, the bathrooms were easy access, fmailies had gone there for photo shoots, and of course there were lots of kids having fun on the playground. Looking forward to going again soon.

Yes you call the county parks number . It’s 100$ from 1to 5 . Well that’s what I paid for the time slot.
If you google Sarasota county or Sarasota city parks and recreation, they should have that info. If they don't, they'll definitely have the number to call. Typically, renting pavilions and such are done through the city or county. On Google Maps, there might be a number to whom you want to speak yo as well.
