We offered the Silver Sneakers program several years ago. Healthways, the company that owns the program, was unwilling to negotiate a fair contract to the Y for this program, despite our interest in doing so. We decided to end the contract. Instead, we offer financial assistance with membership to all - including our seniors - who need a reduced membership rate to enjoy the Y. Anyone can apply through a very simple and confidential process and receive a membership rate that fits your needs. The Y is for all, and we are committed to saying yes to everyone who wants to join. Please visit our website, call us, or come by to learn more about Y Assistance.
Was just here in Pensacola, I have a friend in another state that has Silver sneakers and goes to the YMCA there.
So disappointed no SS program. Does not speak well for P'Cola
I did not have the $15 daily guest fee and the kind young men at the front desk forgave the fee and let me bathe while 90 Works hem-hawed and dragged around "helping" themselves to Dominoes pizza after handing me an MRE. So how about you all remove the offensive green-eyed skull-in-a-jar sitting before the Special Olympics sign. Young Men's Christian Association. Jesus would apprecite that, sure enough. So would the MR's. I know better. Thanks for your kindness.
