Spent6 days there quiet little place, plenty of fire wood to purchase 10 miles to Hill City,2 miles to mt Rushmore,5 miles to needle needles hwy, also close to Crazy horse
Yes there is fire wood available to purchase. I actually brought my chainsaw and cut dead pieces of wood from the forest and that worked great and saved me a few bucks as well..
I dont recall food being available at the campground at all. However you are literally a 5 minute drive from Mount Rushmore and a very touristy town with plenty of places to buy what you need
Just spent 4 days there..w my grandson & husband.. Beautiful camping..Gloria runs the campground and is super nice..
Yes it is. They usually have a pile and you can just put money in the coffee can if they aren't there. Best campsite in the Mt Rushmore area!
