Lake Wenatchee North Campground (Sites 101-197)

Great spot for family camping. The Campground was full but it was quiet at night. Some nice short hikes, good for kids, and they had a blast playing on the beach despite the heavy wind. Absolute bliss, sleeping in my hammock and listening to the wind in the trees. Went to South Beach as well. My kid and I were the only ones swimming, but it was much warmer in the water than in the wind and we had a great time splashing in the waves and watching the parasurfers do amazing stunts. We look forward to visiting again

Beautiful fall colors. Campsites are clean and most are pretty large. Do pay attention to the size needed for your rig and get bigger than you need as a lot of the pull through sites are difficult to pull out of due to the angle and large trees. You may have to back out to leave

One of the loops of the north campsite for Lake Wenatchee State park and campground. Check into your site at the ranger station located at the entrance of the park. The roads create a loop with camping spots on the inside and outside of the road. The bathrooms and showers are in the center. Due to the abundance of trees around the campsites, there is a lot of shade available if you get the right spots. They also keep the wind down on windy days. There are also an abundance of spots available for trailers and RVs with hook ups. Each spot has a picnic bench and a fire pit. It is required that any tent is set up in designated tent areas and extra ones have to be set up in the vehicle parking areas. Day use parking spots are available outside the campground and require the Discover Pass or appropriate fare. Fun place to camp!
