Enormous KOA, nice pool, right by Leavenworth. You don't have to pack much food as Safeway is within walking distance and Leavenworth has dozens of great restaurants. Campsites are kinda closely packed. They have multiple sizes of cabins, including very large ones for larger groups. Full hookups including 50 amp service. Clean and well managed. Not enough trees.

First time staying with a koa. Cons: we stayed at tent site 2, there was zero privacy, on 3 sides of us there was camp sites, and behind us a private property/ house. The dirt/ rock pad made the 94° day so unbearable. We only found respite by hanging out near the river until the sun went down. We have two kids (6&4) and walking up and down the hill to the tent site to all of the activities and restroom was so annoying, they are young enough that we couldn't just send them on their own. I should have called beforehand for this, but there was no movie nights Sunday- Tuesday, this makes no sense to me since it is summer time and I assume other families like ours booked to avoid a busy weekend. We really hyped it up to the kids that we would watch a movie outside, so that was super disappointing. Lastly, I would have thought there would be something, anything Bavarian themed, this campground could have just been placed anywhere, nothing at all was Leavenworth other than the location. Pros: all of the kids activities were really great and the store was nicely stocked and decently priced. Everywhere was clean. The ice and wood delivery was super cool, as well as the trash pick up at the end of your site. For having no privacy, it was actually pretty quiet. We left our site to go sight seeing and all of our stuff was there, it was great having that respect from fellow campers and the security.

This is a huge KOA campground!!! There is a pool, small hot tub, and espresso stand near the main office. Other amenities include a gem hunting station, laundry, shower, bath facilities called "Comfort Stations" and a small store. A big playground with equipment is there for the kids across from the pool. The Wenatchee river runs right past the site at the bottom of the hill and there are trails that lead to it. The lot was well maintained and there was no litter that I saw. Garbage is picked up by staff if left during the day hours at your site. All children must be supervised and accompanied by an adult at all times. The staff are quick to call out rules and are very strict. There are only 2 toilets for every so many sites, and that is a problem in the mornings. Pool and hot tub shut down at 8pm, and that is too early for the summer.

Beautiful park with great walking trails, especially down to the river! Cabins and bathrooms are super clean and all the staff are friendly and kind. We loved watching and seeing all the deer, squirrels, birds and the occasional rabbit! Perfect location with close distance to safeway and to the free shuttle, but you can easily walk to downtown as well!

Yes parking is expensive and limited take the shuttle
Yes tent sites just bring a hammer to stake the stakes of your tent
They dont have real fire pits just a bbq grill you can use for a fire...
Thanks for that .
We are in a deluxe cabin and have all that Kristin Cash said. In addition, towels, sheets, shampoo and conditioner, and hair dryer all all here
Yes, it appears you can have dogs in all the cabins. It is unclear what the pet policy is as they direct you to call if they have a restriction on breed. Looks like you can have even have large dogs all for a minimal fee. They are extremely helpful at the front desk. Just call them! Beautiful park.
They do have laundry machines and added more when they remodeled
Last time we visited, they did have a few things planned for winter. It is best to call them to confirm.
Hmmmm... weird question
I don't know you can call them
Exactly. Mostly targeting RVs, but you will find about 40 tent sites.
Contact the camp managers, they were wonderful for us.
Check the website
Memorial day through labor day, I think.
I do believe that movie night still happens on Tuesdays in summer also. It's awesome! Blankets down by the river.
They allow two tents per spot and up to six people. When you call, let them know you will have two tents so they will put you in one of the bigger spots.
