My wife and I consider this campground to be among the very best out there. The physical surroundings are breathtaking and each campsite is nicely arranged and spaced apart from one another. Of particular note was our experience with hosts Ed and Patti. They were wonderful in every respect and went the extra distance to ensure that our stay was memorable.

Where to start... This campground is better suited for tents, not RVs or camper vans. Many of the sites are small and lack privacy, especially those in the west end. We reserved on line and there was no notice that sites 30 and 31 share the vehicle space! Since we were in a van, we felt like we were in an ordinary parking lot and not camping. Two strange vehicles parked immediately next two us the whole time. There were some other shared parking sites too. Ok for tent camping because you can tent away from the parking area, but not ok for vehicles. In addition, people kept walking through our site ( and other sites). One day, my hubby wasn't feeling well, so we took a nap only to be woken by our dog growling because a man and women were peering into the side window of our van! WTH! Numerous people walked through through our site even though the end was a restoration area clearly marked to stay off of, but people walked through it anyway. And, then there were the young men playing football in our site. Oh, and the dogs not on leashes. One knocked me over when it jumped on me from the bushes as I was heading to the restroom at night. The only good thing was that the vault toilet was the cleanest ever vault toilet. No odors!! Kudos to the guy who cleans it!

Nice forested place. Group site is especially beautiful with secluded tent sites and river access. Well pumps are on solar power so don't expect running water, just get it from the river.

We love Eightmile campground and have been coming here for years. It has beautiful mature tall trees including pine, fir, and large leaf maple. The campground host and Maintenance guy were very welcoming and really helped us find a great first-come-first-serve site. Everything we clean and well cared for. We found an old road that runs parallel to the river and hiked to Bridge Creek campground. Awesome trip!

$22 for a single site 44 for a double site. Was a great campground. We went on a Wednesday and had no problem getting a first come first serve site.
Reservation is ideal. Walk-ins are possible, but can be difficult even on weekdays
Not at this time. Inslee will make a determination on campgrounds June1st
Recreation.gov will show u available dates and u can make reservations there. Hope that helps.
Can't say exactly but the sites generally can support at least one 10 person tent, others more. If you need more info try Googling the campground website, the page has more details esp. for trailer campers. Hope this helps & Happy Camping!
We were there this Memorial Day weekend and paid $22 per day. We didn't see anything about the maximum time for staying.

You could ask the Alpine lakes wilderness in Leavenworth Washington. They would be able to answer your questions
