I would say not to bring young children, there are large groups and there is a current, and there is overhang obstruction; branches and rocks in water in certain areas and people do generally use alcohol so under the age if 14 and their experience, its up to you...but its seems very friendly on the water with alot of people!
Yes during the week. Weekends groups get alittle crazy. Ive done family trips and friend trips. If u have young kids I say no to a weekend👍
99% of the time it is. After heavy rains, it can get higher and a bit faster but still good for beginners.
