Been going here for many, many years. This place can be very unorganized and a little rude but with a little arguing they get things done and it is a very beautiful park. Very clean, very spacious.

This place was awesome. Public showers and restrooms were very clean. So were the port-a-potties. Cleanest I have ever seen. Staff was very friendly and helpful. River tour was also great. Had a blast and will return.

The lady here was awfully rude to me and my family. My sister had an diabetic mishap and she didn’t believe she was truly a diabetic. We were trying to find a way off the river and it was miscommunication because there was nothing posted saying private property or campers only. She also did not tell us we weren’t allowed off the river at this location until we had already deflated all of our tubes. She made us walk up the hill to the road for our ride to pick us up.

There is a park map on their website showing all site types including rustic. It looks like most of the rustic sights are right on the river.

There is direct access to the river. For tubing, canoeing and kayaking the staff drives you further up the river but you get off at a clearing at the campground. There is a picnic table you can sit and enjoy the view or reserve a riverside campsite.

There are children present throughout the camp grounds. I would advise to keep the smoking to your car.tent. or off of campgrounds.
