I'm disabled and was there last week. I wasn't able to get up high, but the employees there were great. They helped find a place for me and even helped carry my loot down. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to do much, but I was extremely happy with my experience.

If you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, you can drive up to the working face and unload your equipment. But then, someone must drive the vehicle back down. Worked well for these 3 seniors.

This changes all the time and will depend on how far they can walk. When we where there the closest from the parking area was about 100 yards or so but it was also up a slope as well. I would highly suggest you contact the mine directly and discuss your needs with them to make that determination.

Yes, there are places in the mine that you would be able to get to without too much trouble. It's a constantly changing landscape out there, but Bobby tries to keep it opened up and accessible. I've seen wheelchairs out there.
