We use River Rats everytime we float. If you don't have your own floats, make sure you show up early!

While the float was good, the “canoe”/“kayak” part of the name doesn’t really fit. We went as a group of four to kayak the river but when we arrived at 9:40 on a Tuesday they were out of kayaks except 2 and had no canoes, only tubes. We had checked the website (Facebook) the night before and they offer no reservations and ask not to call, just to read their FAQ type post. Which does mention kayaks. We decided since we had already drove out, we would go ahead and get tubes. The river was mostly flowing but there were a few still spots. Personally I’m not a fan of tubing but it wasn’t a bad float.

5.00 to park that's it. We had our own rafts. What a great time on the river.

Could have been more water let out of the damn earlier. Still had a great time. Family fun. Till next time.

20 bucks a person
Call ahead to see how high the river is. Its been high in the afternoons the last two days. We dont know when the corps will generate.
Labor day is the last weekend of the season
You park and get on a van.they take you and the tubes drop you off..and the finish point is where you parked
How much does it cost to rent the tubes and be shuttled
their facebook page is usually updated saying when they are open
As far as I know they only rent tubes, you would have to call and verify that. As far as level it varies from day to day. Depends on if they have the dam open or not, when they open the dam to make energy it gets a little too high to float but it's usually pretty good. They check it every morning before they open, calling ahead is my best advice.
They always post updates on their Facebook page.
It low and slow and yes
Ive been twice, definitely sucks with low water, call ahead. But a fun float for sure.
Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn in Caddo Valley.
Yes shuddle is included in parking which is $5. We paid $5 to park and wasnt charged for shuddle separately.
I dont work at River Rats but im sure you could call and ask. They are not officially open yet but they may have a cell number posted. I live at the rv park.
