Yes. I would recommend bringing digging tools from home. A small garden spade and and three prong hand rake will do if you plan on doing the regular dig in the public area of the mine. Most importantly, have fun! Bobby and Toni who handle most of the daily operations are wonderful folks who will take good care of you and will make sure you have a blast!
