When is the best time to go see the sunflowers? (July aug sept) or is Sept too late

Pack a lunch and make a day of it. Morning the sunflowers and spider webs have dew on them which is cool for photos. Miday the flowers are almost straight up take a few shots each lunch and maybe a quick nap. Early evening is beautiful sky colors and portrait time. Enjoy
