Will the Field of Dreams site be open while mlb destroys the ballfield for their game next year with White Sox and Yankees????? I am planning on visiting in Sept of 2019, it sounds like it won't be very special and a place to visit after 8/13/19

They are not doing anything to the ballpark that was made for the movie, MLB is making a whole separate Park with a pathway to the old park. No destruction of any kind to the original Park

Keep your plans to visit in September 2019. If you can make it Labor Day weekend to the Team of Dreams event, that's going to be spectacular.

An article by Bloomberg makes it sound as though this place will undergo a serious transformation. I'd try to get there this year instead.
