Agreed Mickey, Kenneth please take your pet to your vet&have their tail checked out asap. If there's a smell it is probably infected&will require medical attention or it will get worse&cost more to help in the long run. Hopefully they'll be able to just clean the wound, bandage&prescribe an antibiotic&your pets tail will heal&all will end well for everyone. :)
