I have a monthly subscription for massages. Firstly, my massage therapist is amazing and the only reason I'd give 2 stars to this company. My issue is with the front desk staff and the subscription contracts. In November 2021, I was offered an appointment for a massage at 1pm on December 31st, showed up, they were not open. Then, after my birthday massage on January 31st, I was told my LMT was booked until April 1st. I was disappointed as he's never been that booked before, but I took the appointment. I showed up yesterday and I was told the appointment was never made. Nothing was offered in exchange for the inconvenience, she didn't even bother telling me what the next available massage date was. I'm a single mother so taking the time to get a massage isn't easy for me, but it's often the highlight of my month. Securing childcare costs money that I can't get back once I leave my kids there. So I've been paying 60 bucks a month (or 120 bucks a massage for tip + childcare) for almost a year and not getting anything close to what I'm paying for. The whole situation literally brings me to tears. I feel owed a refund or at least an opportunity to get out of this contract with them. I'd understand if they had to cancel with me because of overbooking or a change in the LMTs availability, but this is gross incompetence.
