What will a 10 yr old need to inter CA from ID when she is traveling alone or with a stewardess? Does she need a passport, a birth certificate or just her id.?

A passport is now required. You can also get the North America passport at a reduced cost

Any airline has protocols for "minor traveling alone". Basically you have to document who will be picking them up in the other end. Ask your airline.
