No reservations required. Spring is the most colorful time. I would go in the morning because the Temps in South Carolina can get pretty warm later in the day. Make sure you have lunch at the Cafe, they also serve beer and wine. ENJOY!
Go early when the temperature is nice. And don't skip the Audubon Swamp Garden... it is the best part.
There is no reservation but you will pay extra for the tour of the slave accommodations and go when the mansion is open. I missed out on that.
No reservations required. There is something blooming any time of year, but late March/early April are when the azaleas bloom and it is so beautiful!
