I was there last August and the weather was great! Loved that park. A prairie dogs heaven.
Late fall , its beautful
Depends on how many animals you want to see and how many people you don't want to see. I go at end of October beginning of November. The variety of wild life and herds of mustangs and bison are well worth the discofort of winter camping. Yes it can be windy, but you are in North Dakota!
North Dakota is always windy. A lot of the closest town closes in September, so May or August is your best bet. The summer is dry, and it can get quite hot. it makes it difficult to cook if you're camping.
Summer & Fall. We have eind all the time
September was super windy. I would go in August
Was there in August not too hot or not too cold.
Probably the summer. I was there in the fall and it rained allot
