Mike is right. Generally after Labor Day you won't need reservations there can be a few exceptions. The fall fest is popular and that is the last weekend in September. The first couple weekends in September can be pretty busy.. They are site specific so if you like something special... Full hook-up, lakeside etc you might want to consider making a reservation. Should be pretty easy. Booked full til labor day every year but slows down a bunch after that.
I believe it would be easier to get a spot because of the off season but I recommend during the week because people leave torwards the end of the weekend and spots would open up. They have a lot of good motor home spots up by the nature center Too. 😁
You would have to call them, but it should be fairly easy, they also have first come,first serve sites that are non reservable.
