It may be easier to go through Cannon Beach to Haystack for tide pools. Parking and easier access . Check Haystack on line for docent walks/talks as well, if you like.

I am not sure, I spent my time photographing the trees.

Parking at Indian beach, take the trail down and head south on the beach to the rocks and logs. Its about a 10 minute walk depending on how fast you walk through the sand

Its an easy walk. Maybe 15 minutes, and worth the walk. It was interesting and exciting! I'll post pictures so you can see.

There's stairs going to the beach, some rocks to walk thru and then you're at the sand. Depending on the tide you'll probably be able to see tidepools to the right (if tide is low) otherwise you'll have to walk on beach about 10 to 15 minutes to your left. It's a beautiful beach!

Also check the web for a map showing all the rocky tidal areas as long the coast. These are great for tide pools.
