Great hike. It can be a bit muddy, so make sure you bring proper gear.

Challenging hike from Seaside, lots of altitude up, short distance. Happened to be muddy too. Treated to amazing views at the top almost enough to forget the painful climb. Hikers camp was empty when we got there near dark on a Friday. Would go again but will know what the climb entails. No overnight parking at trailhead so prepare for that. Got away with just a windbreaker but there were shifts in temperature.

Beautiful area. Unfortunately the trail itself was a little too muddy for safe navigation. If we get the chance I’d love the opportunity to come back here and complete the trail.

Hiked all the way through to Ecola. Great trail. Plenty of mud so I'd recommend wearing water proof boots if you go this time of year. Sights include the "terrible Tilly" lighthouse, indian beach, crescent beach, Ecola park, Pacific ocean, and trees. Occasional trolls so bring troll repellent and smile.

Trailhead to Hikers camp? It took closer to 3, we stopped more often I guess.
Ecola beach state park, the trees are very large a hammock is a brave choice, but doable. If over nighting is your plan the park may not allow overnight parking.
