Oh my goodness. I don’t love seafood, but the halibut and cod were phenomenal. (It would have been nice to have a little touch of seasoning like Old Bay in the batter - the fish was so mild that it was hard to really taste anything.) The beer was great, and the kids’ meals were huge - we had enough chicken to take home for sandwiches at lunch the next day.

We popped in for lunch and thought it was great! Husband had the Stout, and I had the lightest brew available. Both were outstanding. Didn't know they brewed their own. We both were in the mood for a great cheeseburger and we were not disappointed. The French fries are PERFECT. You know that size in between shoestring and steak? Yep, those, perfectly fried, without any crazy additions like batter or 'crazy salt'. The sesame buns for the burger are toasted with butter, comes with the crispiest-ever lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickle slices. The service was excellent, super low key, yet attentive. Music was bluesy '60s, rock, with a modern feel, not sure of the artists, but it fit the vibe. Feels local, and it's not pricey. One of our new faves in CB.

I enjoyed the appetizers specifically the oyster shots and the fried oysters. The calamari was ok as was the clam chowder... but the beer selection was Meh. The server was awesome and attentive and I would definitely choose 3.5 stars if that was an option.

We went for an early dinner around 3:30 in the afternoon. There was hardly anybody else there. Our server was nice. The onion rings were underwhelming but other than that the food was good. They have a fireplace that we were able to sit next to and it was a nice and relaxing environment.

Hmm how to describe food? It's tough to explain to someone who has never had it. It's one of the best experiences a person can have while also being one of the most frustrating. Imagine having one of the most enjoyable moments of your life then finding out it's bad for you. Imagine paying a mere few dollars for pure happiness while simultaneously knowing that experience has to be limited so you don't harm yourself. It's eternal happiness and eternal disappointment all wrapped in one. We're only on this earth for a few lonely years and our opportunity for food is limited. It's a sad existence. I'm sorry you aren't able to know what food is like firsthand but I'm also jealous that you don't have to experience what the rest of us most suffer through daily.
They have a variety of beer and cider, but no hard alcohol
Absolutely. Not only is it easter, but more importantly, (business wise), it is the cross over of spring break from Oregon to Washington.
Bill's tavern is definitely not pet friendly inside but dogs are allowed on the outside deck in front.
