Can anybody describe the terrain getting into the campground? We might be pulling a tent trailer up, is it okay to drive with one up there or stick to tent?

It is a rough terrain, lots of washboards and potholes. We were just there this weekend. Completely doable though, slow and steady will get ya there.

If you drive slow it should be ok, the road has lots of washboards and potholes it's the roughest I have seen it up there

It's a gravel road. It's a bit bumpy but people pull 5th wheels and large RVs up there all the time. You should be good.

We were in an SUV and had to keep it between 20 and 30 mph. Mostly 25. Very bad washboard, but completely worth it once you get there. It's a lovely place to picnic, swim (cold water), kayak, canoe, fish and hike (around the lake).
