Within a mile or two there are little to no attractions outside of general shopping. There are plenty of places (25+) to eat within 2 miles. Options such as fazoli's, Texas Roadhouse, McDonald's, newt's, Culvers, Chipotle, Panera, Buffalo wild wings, etc.
Mayowood tour, Thursday's on First(shopping,food, ventors selling crafts or homegrown flowers,etc, stage music). Amish tour, mystery cave. Down by the river conert on Sunday.
I agree with zach. Newts is amazing definitely try it if you never have.
