Stayed in a mini suite while here for appointments at the Mayo Clinic. Couldn't have picked a better spot location wise. Out of the four staff we've encountered, they've all been very kind and incredibly helpful! The AC unit works perfectly and the beds are very comfortable. Even the pull out couch wasn't too bad. If you have the option, get a room with a patio. It was lovely having dinner out there.

First night stayed in room without high toilet and not room to have grip rails to help get down and up. Fingerprints everywhere, so did not look clean. Some white powder residue in office table drawer. Dirty carpet, no easy chair, comfortable bed. Second night stay got a mobility room, smaller than first.there was an uphill slope to bathhrioom, bathroom floor crawling with ants, placed bannana peal to keep them busy on one area.

If you are going up there for a procedure from Mayo clinic I would highly recommend going somewhere else. Added an extra layer of stress and problems that we didn't need at that time. The manager is never there and the front desk staff isn't able to do anything or give solution for your problem and are unable to provide a corporate number. Wasn't able to use their parking because of the size of my vehicle which I was charged for. The beds are very uncomfortable. The rooms are very small and claim to be queen sized beds which they are not. Was very unhappy and will not be using them for an future trips to Mayo clinic.

The rooms are old, but a good value for the price. This is the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Across the street from Mayo. Flexible check in and check out times, and thankfully housekeeping respected the do not disturb sign on the door. The climate control unit was also nice and quiet. Peaceful stay.

There is not valet parking but there is a door man to take your luggage out of your car & up to your room. As for parking just go one block, there is a parking garage. When you leave the garage the 1st time let then know you'd like to buy a 5/7/10 day pass. So much cheaper! Took my mother-in-law to Mayo a couple times, we found a few ways to navigate Kahler & Mayo. Hope this helps even if it's just a little. Take care.

I was told In order to get to mayo clinic you need to use the underground subway
Yes we stayed at the Kahler Suites across from the Mayo Clinic. There are two, one on each side, we stayed at the newer one and for the price, we were okay. They provided a breakfast. It was okay. They also provided parking. We needed to be close, I was in very bad shape. The first time that we came there, we stayed out further and use the shuttle. The shuttle can sometimes run a little late. One of the shuttles broke down and that was the reason it was running late. So the second time we chose to be close. We had some issues with the TV and the shower but they worked with us and gave us a new room. We were happy with the Kahler Suites. It was all about location. And the price was right. We would stay there again, if we had too. The location is perfect. I would also like to mention there are restaurants in house and within walking distance.
It's not clear what you're asking? The walking distance from what? It just doesn't make sense.
Sorry no free parking. The rate is $12.00 per day and you have to have the parking pass in the windshield asap. Price went up from $10.00 bqck in September of 2017, worth every penny.
On the 2nd floor is the laundry facility. 2 washers and 2 dryers $1.50 per machine per load and can be used 24 hours a day. Local laundromats are near by as well.
