The bag search alone " for safety " is a big violation..if you need to touch peoples belongings use some gloves or something..and why check bags for safety and not anything else. The real reason should be posted on the doors, subject to searches for food...because they are that petty and cheap and prices are high...I will not come back..I spent 80 dollars in food and they had a tizzy about a bag of candy then they didn't look at anything else..they aren't keeping anyone safe, just looking to save themselves concession profits...very petty.

Still has the flavor of the Chateau, the great seats, sound system etc. We bought our seats ahead of the movie, would not have been needed. It was $5 Tuesday and we were the only two people in the large screen showing of the movie at 7:30. The staff was really friendly and even offered us a mint on the way out, it was a long movie and most lights were off and the gal with the mints was the only person we seen going out. Perhaps just odd timing on our part, will see what it is like next time. 🤔

Great theaters and the reclining seats are awesome (minus the peeling leather). The guy and gal who checked us in were great but the concession staff was terrible! None of them even tried to have a good attitude and the service was beyond slow! I had to ask multiple times for what I needed because he just ignored me. The cups for soda started to fall apart because they were so thin and cheap and when I asked for a new cup the guy thoroughly inspected it like I was lying. I will definitely be choosing a different theater from here on out.

Had an amazing time at this movie theatre . Only a few seats per room with plenty of space in between rows. You can’t really see the other rows. Every seat reclines and opens a foot rest . Electronic controls . Plus , arm rests are movable so if pulled upwards your seat becomes just like a home sofa. Perfect for dates or to take kids and keep them next to you. I will probably return

CMX Chateau does show classic movies as part of their Flashback Cinema, but you would need to visit their website for dates and times. Gone with the Wind is not currently listed, but it could be farther out on their schedule.

If we have movies showing at 11AM we open at 10:30. If we have movies showing at 1PM we open at 12:30. So basically we open a half hour before the first showing of the day.

It looks like CMX doesn't share their menu outside of signing in. Once you sign in and purchase a ticket then you can check out the VIP dining menu and have your meal delivered to your seat: "For our VIP Full Dining Concepts* you can order Food & Drinks from our website or our App and we'll deliver your order right to your seat. To order please select one of the two options below, so that we know where you'll be seated" Personally I haven't tried ordering from the VIP menu as I don't think they really have anything that I would want, and I doubt they have the talent to prepare a really good meal but I'm sure it would cost as much as you'd pay at a good restaurant. I prefer to eat dinner before or after seeing a movie at a theater as I've never gotten anything close to a decent meal from any of Rochesters theatres.
I don't know, a year ago CMS Theaters changed hands. They still have not started a reward program

Usually kids movies are 3D but like Edgar said it will say at end of the title plus it cost more for 3D movies.

I find that showings after eight thirty tend to be more available, but you can reserve tickets on their website. Depending on what you classify as a "good time", almost any showing is fine.
