Edited due to manager doing her best to make things right. Sadly, I had to edit my review. I have always stayed at this hotel when in Rochester. I haven’t stayed anywhere else in years. Tonight when I checked in I was told I couldn’t get a room upgrade because corporate didn’t put it in their notes on my reservation. I explained that I had never obtained a room upgrade this way. He said he would upgrade my room, but would charge me for the upgrade. I explained I don’t pay for upgrades as a Diamond member. He refused to upgrade. I phoned Choice Hotels corporate who confirmed they have nothing to do with the upgrade and tried to phone the hotel with me in the lobby. The front desk attendant would not answer the phone. This is the rudest I have ever been treated at this hotel and it will be the last chance they have to treat me this way. The front desk clerk was extremely rude and ineffective. Stay somewhere else. There is another Choice property in town that I have heard is very nice.

Very disappointed in hotel services as w choice rewards member. My husband and I were staying here for Mayo appointments we were asked at check in if we wanted housekeeping services. They give you a paper to fill out and put on your door if you want the services. We marked the paper with the services we wanted which were to include fresh bedding, towels, and garbage removed. Housekeeping came left all our old towels did not bring new linens and left the new towels in a bag on the floor. Very disappointed in these services from housekeeping. My husband is in treatment and has to have new sheets every night, we were told when we reserved that this would not be an issue.

Highly recommend! I’ve hosted my wedding rehearsal there, my sisters bridal shower, and my daughters birthday party. We also had our wedding guests stay there for our wedding and were given a free room for our wedding night. The shuttle to/from the wedding was AWESOME, the breakfast was really good, and the rooms are clean.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. When I was done early with appointments at Mayo Clinic we were able to check out early without a penalty fee. Everything was clean but hotel could use some updates/repairs.
