Kira, Marcus has a website that is very comprehensive in the payment portion of the transaction. Proving your age doesn't seem to qualify one's status as a student. PS: Get a Rewards card.
In regards to seeing a rated R movie or getting a Student Discount? I think he'd likely need the Student ID to obtain a discount. I know with some schools you can obtain a temp replacement card via the school website.
