When I was there it was like 4 small dogs walking around... I was there during a hurricane Florence... I was told they was only allowed because the families was evacuated from myrtle beach etc.. I didn't have a pet but I had a friend go 4 extra hours of driving because she have pets, she could of came ...I spoke with others who was there... They was relieved to have their fur babies with them and shelter from the storm... One lady went a little overboard by letting her dog get in the pool to swim... She also held it up to the breakfast nooks to see what it wanted to eat... Others wasn't happy about that.. I seen her smoking a cig later complaining that the hotel rules was ridiculous... Someone must of said something to her... She was the only guess who let her dog roam, stay out in the lobby talking...etc... The dog barked a lot tooo .. The other guess you barely seen them... Except for potty walks. I'm sure service animals with papers are allowed... They should be..
