Fishing is ok. A few years ago most low depth lakes in Michigan, like Lake Ovid, froze solid. This killed off alot of big fish. I did see a few 13-15 inch largemouth bass get pulled in last weekend from the shore near the public beach and the fishing pier by the campground. My family and I caught a lot of small bluegill and sunfish. Good luck!
