Was wondering if there is an area I can just drive up for the evening and watch the meteor showers? Get a little out of the city light pollution.

I've actually attended stargazing parties there contact the DNR Park Authority and find out on their website what their stargazing schedule is... The park by the beach is really dark at night, I would imagine they only open up at night for special events like the stargazing

Yeah, I'm gonna have to say no to that tonight...its very cloudy and rainy.... and the Park would of been a nice treat...
