Hello. I have two questions for you. - Is there any chance that I can get to these campingsites (from Las Vegas) without a private car? - If yes, are there things to see and do around in a walking distance? Thank you in advance

Furnace Creek Campground - All questions

Address: DEATH VALLEY, CA 92328, USA

DEFINITELY not a backpacker freelance type thing. Open desert, hot, and barron. Everything is very far apart. Do not do it without reliable transportation and food and water. I've been there.

Don't traverse the desert without a car...and supplies (food, water, clothing)

You can check Google maps directions from Las Vegas to Furnace Creek and see that there are basically no public transportation options. So you will need to rent a car

I would recommend to have car, there are no buses and you cannot walk to see around, everything is 10-40 miles from campground.

I don't think there are buses that go out there. You'd likely have to pay someone to drive you or rent a car. Also all the things to do around there prob aren't in walking distance depending on the time of year
