Shade parking! Oh how grateful we were to have that for our old truck. Staff was great, knowledgeable and super willing to share. If nothing else, get you a Gatorade and get your picture with the temperature.

AHHHH ITS SO HOT! Honestly though, having been to dozens of national parks this is one of my favorites. Amazing displays inside and a well stocked gift shop. The park it's self is obviously astounding. It's VERY hot even in late May, a very dry heat so be sure to have plenty of water even between the walk to sites or stores and the car. There is at least one gas station in the park it's self, but you should really have a full tank well before starting. I'd say we spent 3 hours driving across, and there are a lot of hills. Well worth the experience and the drive through the park, unlike anywhere else I've been in the world!

Rangers are really helpful only thing to remember is take entrance fee slip from your dashboard so u get a map for free. Movie every 30 minutes and junior ranger activity for kids is available here.

This place is the best place in Death Valley for taking a break. Water, restrooms and plenty of parking. From here you have to choose which direction you have to go. Two best hotel place to stay (expensive) are next to this location. Lots of RV station and camping ground are located here. Most crowded place in Death Valley. Take the Bad Water way and stay in artistic way for a while in the night. Turn off the light and enjoy the night sky with stars. You can see the milky way from there. Simply wow. You will remember the moment in your whole life.

Yeah it's not open
Yes you can.
The gift shop / book store was open and there are rangers there answering questions aswell as bathrooms
According to this article, the park won't technically close, but it won't be staffed. https://www.nationalparkstraveler.org/2018/12/will-national-parks-be-open-if-government-shuts-down
I would call there and ask the rangers officially
I have seen some Teslas in the area, but it would be wise to call. Note that Stovepipe is close by that seems to have RV's around.
Still isn't open yet, tours are pushed to late fall 2021. All restoration delayed due to COVID-19.
Well, this all depends from where you are coming and what route you are planning to take. There is likely no snow at Furnace Creek itself, however the mountains around Death Valley will likely have snow. The road conditions tomorrow all depend on the weather today and during the night. I would get updated conditions online or through local agencies.
You would need to contact the National Park
