DO NOT GO HERE!!! My phone call appointments with Dr. Sixbey lasted 5 minutes or less (usually 3 minutes!) every single time. They overcharge too. It has been an absolute nightmare over the last year fighting with them over billing. My insurance’s psychiatric copay is $25 and the office keeps billing me $50. I’ve been literally been fighting with them over this for a YEAR now. They are billing insurance for medication management and psychotherapy when I do NOT receive psychotherapy from Dr. Sixbey. On top of that, the CPT code they use is for a 30-39 minute appointment… and each visit is 5 minutes or less like I said. Because of the way they bill insurance (2 CPT codes) I basically get charged 2 copays. FOR A 3 MINUTE PHONE CALL. When I complained, there was a lot of back and forth and then I finally talked to the DIRECTOR. When I shared my concerns she promised she would get it figured out. My next few appointments would already be taken care of because of the overcharges from the previous visits. But guess what! I just got a bill in the mail asking for $50 (double copay) each for 2 visits from February and March, and it’s now AUGUST. Also, when I brought up my concerns about how short my appointments were and that the quality of care I was receiving was poor, the director basically told me “well most psychiatrists do short appointments” and that the other 25 minutes of the appointment were spent reviewing notes??? Total BS. The CPT code being billed is for the actual APPOINTMENT, so 30-39 minutes talking to the patient, not reviewing notes. They are a bunch of scammers and they don’t care about their patients. They are preying on a vulnerable population of people with mental health issues and overcharging us and hoping we won’t notice. Thank god I noticed! It’s absolutely sickening how they handled this situation and clearly it’s a pattern since all the other reviews on here are from patients who were overcharged. This place needs to be reported and shut down because they are absolutely despicable. They should be ashamed of themselves! TL;DR— this place overcharges and scams their patients, they have terrible communication, they provide terrible quality care, and they truly don’t care about their patients, only their money. Save yourself some time and peace of mind and go literally anywhere else.

My behavioral health benefits changed and I wasnt informed until I had a bill over $700.00. This happened once before with another provider who contacted me immediately prior to my visit to make sure I knew I'd get a bill. Yes, I'm responsible for knowing my own benefits but after over a year you'd think some repor would warrant a heads up.

I was seen by Dr Sholtis for testing and she was nothing but amazing! I was a little scared discussing everything at the first appointment but she made it very easy! She was very kind listened and walked me through each step of the process. Dr Sholtis was able to read the room and eased the stress. The testing appointment was long but she provides breaks so she didn’t overwhelm me which was nice because it seemed long but it flew by! The feedback!!!! It wasn’t what I wanted to hear but it was very informative she explained everything in detail and offered support after. Dr Sholtis is a very skilled doctor and is worth the wait! AMAZING I recommend 100000000%

I was a patient at CCC for 3 years. When the pandemic happened, seems like their front office/billing department suffered. Other people have already discussed that issue, but I just want to say— I am already suffering from anxiety, it didn’t help that CCC never returned any of my phone calls regarding my charge disputes then I’d receive a bill in the mail with a note threatening that my services will get disrupted if I don’t pay asap. I tried to wait and see if they’d get their act together, but they never did. Sadly, I had to leave my therapist. It didn’t make sense for me to keep wasting therapy time talking about the stress her office was giving me.

We Accept Medicare. But we are out of network with Medicaid and could not see any Medicaid patients at this office, not even as self pay. We apologize for any inconvenience!
