I would suggest deeper water than shoreline and away from the swimming area. As stated above, I haven't seen people bring much in. The big lake is good for fishing and your are a stones throw from it. As well as a great channel on the way to the light house.
Seen alot of people fishing but nothing caught...must be something in there alot of fishing going on
