When you're on the ferry the ranger who operates it feeds the fish twice so everyone can get a nice picture.
If you are there when the DNR park rangers are feeding them, you can see it. They do it on a regular schedule. I don't believe you can feed them yourselves. They are very deep in the water. Yet you can see them !!

I don't think your allowed to feed the fish. Nobody was feeding them when I was there.
I didn't know that they feed the fish. My understanding is that it is a natural ecosystem. The fish have food to eat within this natural habitat. Feeding any wild creature disrupts that system. You can EASILY see the fish thru the crystal clear waters. Please don't feed them.
They don't want visitors to feed them for sure. Maybe they post feeding times, I don't remember.
