Chances are slim. Moose more likely in leveller, less rocky terrain. Grafton Notch is beautiful (especially in summer) but technically it's mountain foothills. Wouldn't be surprised if spot a bear.
I've never seen one or signs of one. Your best bet to see a moose in Maine would be up in northern Maine
