My wife and I went to Grafton Notch for two nights and ended up staying an extra night because the campground is so nice and there's so much to do in the area, but more so because Mo and her team made us feel so welcome and at-ease! It's a small (fifteen sites) campground, nicely laid out and never overcrowded. They keep it impeccably clean qnd provide beautiful bathhouses with hot showers and all the amenities. What a treat! be sure to visit the picnic area nearby, and the northern end of the state park, which is an absolutely idyllic spot to spend an hour or so. And if you're up to it, the AT and Grafton Loop Trails are great for a challenging day hike (up Old Speck, for example!) or a short backpacking trip. Thanks, Mo... we can't wait to visit again!

We enjoyed our stay at this campground! Mo was so accommodating (we called last minute and she was there to meet us even though we were arriving late). Bathrooms/shower were incredibly clean and modern. The shower is spacious and easy to access. There is even a separate sink and area to wash your dishes. Tent sites are clean and level. We had no issues hammering the stakes for the tent into the ground. Beautiful little creek runs behind the sites.

Great campground! Dog friendly, super clean and convenient. Met Mo, who is amazing and feels like you've known her forever. Definitely be back. The campsites on the river is where it is at.

As far as I can tell, the owner, a woman who goes by the name Mo, the is the kindest, most interesting person in the whole state of Maine (actually the state of Maine seems to be filled with wonderful people like Mo). CAMP HERE. It's a small lil' campground but the showers are hot, the bathrooms are clean, the service is friendly, and it does not get anymore convenient for hiking trails in Grafton Notch SP.

They can explore the Bear River/Stream and the rock island, fish & frogs. Field area with Horseshoes & Corn Hole, Frisbee, Kick Ball ... Bring a bicycle and cruise around the campground (Don't recommend that they ride on Route 26) Lots of great hikes & waterfalls in the immediate area.
